Hi, my name is Ranjan Datta. I am a resident of Azusa, California. I am currently seeking work in front-end website development or website production.
I have extensive experience in all aspects of website design and development having worked in corporate, agency and small business environments. I can work to tight deadlines and deliver to specification.
I have been operating my own freelance business for seven years – which I believe makes me an ideal candidate for short-term business critical projects where a trustworthy, reliable and broadly skilled developer is required.
I've been producing, maintaining and managing websites for eight+ years.
Efforts to put myself into a single classification is difficult. My passion is front-end web development to web standards, but I also have a keen interest in server-side development. I have a great eye for design, proficiency in many desktop applications and lots of experience in multimedia production, video editing/encoding, sound-for-picture and music.
I am creative, confident and a very fast learner. I am motivated and proactive. I think fast … and I work smart. I am organized and methodical with excellent analytical abilities. I am known for my meticulous attention to detail.
In early 1998 I trained in web design at Pune, India's Zap Information Technology School while working as project engineer for manufacturers of Chemical Industry Equipment, Praj Industries Ltd . Later I worked as web developer for a web agency in Pune, India, before starting with the CGS Technologies Pty Ltd, Sydney Australia as a web master for their customer facing web property.
I arrived in California in late 2001 and have mostly worked as a freelance developer except for a brief stint with Entertainment Publications Inc (Part of the IAC group) . My clients came from the marketing, fashion, recruitment, creative and architectural industries.
